The Storytellers Portrait Series is a multimodal project in celebration of NYC pride and culture, driven by vibrant stories of local Black and Brown creatives and entrepreneurs.
Series One centers the stories of Black Creatives from behind and in front of the lens. The April 20th Lounge @ Levue Paint n' Sip & Portrait Session includes:
🎨 Collaborative Painting (paint supplies and aprons provided, no prior experience necessary!)
🍷 Wine Tasting from Black Owned Brands (while supplies last)
🍬 Light Bites (while supplies last)
🎟️ Raffle Giveaways by Black Owned Brands

📸 Portraits by Souls in Focus (open to Black Creatives only**)

This event centers community building amongst BIPOC Creatives and Entrepreneurs.
On site portraits are open to Black Creatives of any discipline to be featured in the closing exhibition on June 15, 2024. Participants will select between two backdrops - beige linen or canvas blue. Portrait participants are requested to bring an item of significance for their portrait that helps to tell a story about who they are.
