Curating Transformative Experiences for BIPOC Creatives

Across the Diaspora

Hurricane Melissa made landfall on October 28, 2025 as a Category 5 hurricane in Westmoreland, Jamaica. It was Jamaica’s strongest-ever storm to directly hit its shores, and the first major hurricane to do so since 1988.

In December 2025, the Anansi community rallied to purchase household and hygiene supplies for distribution on the island. Over 7000 supplies were collected and distributed directly to impacted residents in Montego Bay and St. Elizabeth.
